Happy Friday! Today brings my October glam bag review! The theme this month is ‘Alter Ego’ which I thought was pretty fun for Halloween! The bag is cool as one side is shiny black and the other is gold hued. The products this month were pretty darn fantastic too so let’s dig in!
This has been one of my favorite manicures so far! I used Incoco’s accent nails in ‘Shape Up’ and paired with my all time favorite neutral – ‘Earl Grey’ by Sally Hansen. I love the subtle pop of color from the appliques and how well it pairs with the grey polish!
Do you love grey nails? What’s your favorite shade? Thanks for reading and stay fashionable!
Happy October! This is my favorite month of the year! Aside from it being my birthday month, it’s also a beautiful month with the foliage changes in full swing and the temps dropping to cooler weather. I absolutely love this time of the year! This month Birchbox is focused on Breast Cancer Awareness and the box is a gorgeous marbled pink. I decided to downgrade to the regular box with the holidays coming up so I did not receive the two makeup items I normally would have. I’m hoping they eventually allow a little more customization with that as it’s kind of a one-size-fits-all with the products you receive. Let’s take a look at this month’s goodies!
I did not think I would like these nail appliques when I received them. They are from Incoco and are called ‘Park Guell’. I paired them with a pastel Tiffany blue called ‘Shell Me More’ by Pop-Arazzi for the accent nail and ended up loving the look!
How do you feel about a plain old polished accent nail? Thanks for reading and stay fashionable!
I wanted something a little more playful with a neutral twist and thought this was a great combo! I got these two minis for only 5 bucks during a Luxe Pineapple sale. The colors are ‘Palm Tree’ (it’s a nice bright apple green) and ‘Beach Bum’ (a perfect sandy nude) from Ciate which I think pair really nicely together.
Do you tone down brights by pairing them with neutrals too? Thanks for reading and stay fashionable!
Hello all! Today I’m reviewing a set of lip products I picked up from Sephora a few weeks back. This $25 set contains 6 sample lip products ranging from glosses to matte lippies and included a full size item! The set has a great selection of neutrals and pinks and really for $25 is a steal! I read a great review from the lovely blogger Sparkle & Spice (check her out!) and took the plunge. As if the sampler of a Kat Von D matte lipstick wasn’t enough. Let’s talk lips, shall we?
